Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data—usually text files—stored on your computer or mobile device when you load our web dashboard. Additionally, we use Local Storage and Session Storage, which serve similar purposes to cookies but allow for more secure and efficient data handling in modern web applications.

2. How We Use Them

Nova strictly uses cookies and local storage for Essential and Functional purposes only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

  • Authentication: To keep your session active securely via JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and Discord OAuth integrations.
  • Preferences: To remember your dashboard UI theme (Light/Dark mode) and layout choices between sessions.
  • Security Checkpoints: To validate Freemium link bypasses and prevent brute-force API requests to our backend infrastructure.

3. Managing Your Cookies

Since our cookies are strictly necessary for the authentication and operation of your dashboard, refusing them will prevent you from logging in and managing your licenses. However, you can manually clear your browser's Local Storage and Cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will automatically log you out of your current Nova session.
